Can you believe that the school year is already half way through? My goodness, time is flying by! We had a good week, although it had some rough edges! It was hard to get back into the five day week. It seemed like the kids were tired and fidgety this week, but I am sure next week will be a whole lot better! : D Our goal is to be "strike-free" all week!
We elected our Spring term ASB reps this week...congratulations go to Zach and Ann!
We will be continuing on full speed ahead with our Africa unit! This next week we will begin creating our frieze (mural) of the Maasai Mara game reserve. We will be learning all about the land, and creating our vision of what it may look like using a variety of materials. I will be taking lots of pictures along the way! We will also begin our poetry unit in writing which will go right along with our africa unit. The kids will love this!
Please don't forget to send in gallon size milk or water jugs next week...we need them for our Valentine's pockets! It would be nice to have a few extras, just in case!
I hope that everyone has a wonderful, restful weekend!
