One Week Left to Go!

Can you believe it?!  Only one week left of second grade - my, oh, my how time flies by!  It has been such a fun year with such great kids!  I truly have enjoyed each and every one of them! 

Next week is a crazy week with lots of assemblies, and cleaning out desks, and cleaning the classroom.  If you know that your child is going to be missing the last day of school, please let me know, as I will be passing out reports cards and such that day. 

This will be my last blog of the year, since next week I will not have anything to report.  I hope that you all have a wonderful summer, relaxing, full of sunshine and family!  Thank you again for sharing your child with me this year, as it has been a true pleasure!

Hooray for the Sunshine!

The beginning of June and finally a sunny day...Yay!  It has been a good week in room 26.  We are starting to wind down the school year.  It is amazing how fast this year flew by - WOW!   We have experienced quite a few things this week from watcing Mary Poppins to letting our butterlies go, to having pizza outside for lunch!  It has been a fun week!  We finished our Caught'ya story and most of us have finished our math books.  We still have one more week of Spelling and one more story in Reading.  We have finished our scrapbooking and we will be finishing up our science next week.  We will begin to clean up the classroom, organize books and papers, clean out desks, as well as learn a little more about problem solvers and insects!  Don't forget that next week is the BBQ and field day!  Please make sure your child brings in their BBQ slips on Monday!  Also, library books are due on Monday as well!
